The Benedict XVI Trust is the official worldwide promoter of the teachings of Benedict: one of the clearest Catholic voices of our time. The Benedict Project is the fruit of those humble beginnings under the stewardship of the Hortus Foundation. As the official American partner institution, the mission of the Benedict Project is twofold: to disseminate the timeless wisdom and profound teachings of this great modern theologian to the English-speaking world, and to promote a personal devotion to Pope Benedict XVI, leading to formal canonization and recognition as a modern-day Saint of the Church.
